Dr. Jennifer Rumping

Practice Owner
Dr. Rumping is from Cincinnati and grew up in White Oak.  She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Biology, BA in Psychology and MS in Biological Sciences.  After UC, she worked for Procter and Gamble for several years before going back to school at The Ohio State University where she earned her DVM in 2003.  Her family raised and showed Boxers since she was a little girl and she still enjoys competitive dog showing in conformation, obedience, barn hunt, and rally.  Dr. Rumping is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Boxer Club, Queen City Dog Training Club, The American Boxer Club, Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Other interests include travel, wine tastings, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Rumping purchased Oak Crest Animal Hospital in 2007 after working in a companion animal hospital and doing relief work for several years.  She loves being in a small practice so she can focus on her patients and their individual needs.  She enjoys seeing puppies and kittens grow and develop into adults and has a special fondness for the senior pets. 

Currently, she owns 5 Boxers including a senior rescue dog.  

Darlene Frey

Office Manager / Veterinary Assistant
Darlene has been a part of the Oak Crest Team for over 20 years. She has experience in both large and small animal practices. She lives with her husband Butch and their two pets, Toddi and Stewie. Darlene has a thirst for knowledge and loves learning new things, especially anything medically related. She enjoys meeting all the clients and caring for patients. Her favorite part of the job has always been assisting with surgeries. Outside of the office, Darlene likes to spend time with her extended family , as well as reading, cooking, and gardening.

Shari Camp

RVT
Shari is a native of Parma, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland but has been living in the Cincinnati area since 1997. She has been a registered veterinary technician for the past 23 years. She graduated from Otterbein College with a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and Columbus State Community College with an Associates in Veterinary Technology in 1997. She has a passion for learning so she can better serve and take care of her patients and clients. Shari fills her heart and her house with many pets, which include two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, her lab mix, 2 ferrets and multiple cats. In her spare time, she enjoys classic car shows, quality time with her pets, training her dogs and spending time with family and friends.

Mindee

RVT
Mindee has been a part of the Oak Crest Team since 2012.  She graduated from the Blue Ash Veterinary Technology program in 2016.  Mindee has been married to her husband Tony for 13 years and they have a son named Jasper.  She currently has 2 dogs and 3 cats.  Mindee’s veterinary interests include oral care and education and performing dental cleanings.  Her outside interests include spending time with her family, reading, and gardening.

Ronald Weasley

Ronald Weasley is the Director of Public Relations.  He has been a part of the Oak Crest Team for almost 10 years.  He is loved and attended to by the human staff (aka his servants).  Clients enjoy his antics.  Ronald is usually busy managing the daily affairs at the office such as greeting clients, making appointments, typing unwanted memos, printing extra labels, sitting on charts, and checking our pen, bag and syringe supplies.  His hobbies include napping in the sun, drooling down the backs of staff members, inspecting purses and wallets, fine dining, and long walks around the office.
